![]() ![]() To me, stockpile goods would cost somewhere in between the lowest possible price and the standard price. It shouldn't cost as much as it does, but rock bottom prices that you see in foreign markets are likely supposed to represent a colony taking a loss on producing said goods. That said, I agree that it isn't doing a very good job with the economy accounting for supply and demand. There's no discount to be had here because you're not purchasing from anyone this is your stockpile. You not only will be paying the costs, but also potential profits have to be subtracted from the prediction too. If you take half your stockpile, you're going to lose out on that revenue. The game gives you a future prediction of how much your colony will make at the end of the cycle. Revenue is costs to produce the goods, as well as any profit you would have made. If you take from the stockpile, you lose out on REVENUE. It doesn't matter if you are the person who bought the land, equipment, hired the workers, etc. In early-game, you don't have enough credits to justify traveling somewhere just to get some fuel 15% cheaper. In late-game, you will spend more resources while flying to needed planet than you will gain from trading. There is capacity for some mid-game shenanigans, but i usually jump straight into colonizing after getting my first few millions from bounties/trade. Said Chicomoztoc is usually, well, unavaible after performing lategame Anti-Expedition Special Operation. You also pay tariffs, and even on Chicomoztoc, you won't get even a sliver of needed resources on black market.Again, lategame fleets eat supplies and fuel like a burning oil rig, the only place where i could get around 10k units of fuel and 4-5k units of supplies outside of my factions is probably Aztlan. You have to spend both resources and fuel to get to them at the first place. Some necroposting here.Yes, you might get a better price at some colonies with excess, however: ![]()
